About Me
Hi, I’m Natalie Maisano and I have over seven years of technical writing experience and in addition I have spent the last few years as a Learning and Development Specialist. My passion is to create learning materials that are concise and engaging for both internal and external customers.
My Approach
While many businesses may not think much about their manuals, guides and other internal communications, they play a vital role supporting the bottom line.
When a business documents a process, the process is no longer tied to one employee or one group. This helps to improve consistency and streamlines procedures throughout the entire company. This also allows a business to scale, as key team members are no longer tied to a particular process and can more easily move into new positions.
A key component in accurately documenting processes and procedures is being a good listener and asking the right questions. Not every subject I speak with is great at explaining exactly what it is they do. One of the most rewarding parts of being a technical writer is being able to thoroughly understand the subject matter expert and correctly document their area of expertise.
Areas of Specialty
As a technical writer, I have developed a variety of different types of documents (over 500) that provided significant support to companies. I have a particular expertise in writing for SaaS and mortgage industries.
My Interests
Outside of my work, I enjoy baking delicious cookies and supporting a variety of humanitarian causes that are near and dear to me.
